Thick prints, such as Polaroid or old thick B&W photo paper - $2.95 each. Bigger than 8x10 but smaller than 11x14 photo scan - $15.00 each. No scan for bigger than 11x14 photos.

	DVD Slide Show.- $29.95 extra. Most recent DVD player can play Jpg CD (meaning a CD which holds Jpg files on) on TV monitor. So if you want to enjoy your old photos scanned on a CD, you can just put it on a DVD player. However,for the purpose of party or funeral, if you want particular background music, customized titles or want to DVD endless(looped), we can help you. We can put a simple title on the DVD menu, like: "John and Kim's Wedding" or "In Loving Memories of Joanne Divan" Making a DVD with a title with or without loop mode is $29.95 Custom background music - $15.00 additional. Please provide us your music CD or Mp3 files. So if you want a DVD looped, tattled with custom background music, the price is $44.95. (this price does not include photo scanning price)
	Matte finish photos will show white dots in digital files. This is a nature of Matte photo paper.
	No refund will be accepted for Shoe Box Scanning jobs, because the CD or DVD can be easily copied at home.

Photos have to be sorted by their sizes, orientation, thickness or conditions to obtain best scanning result.
We sometimes have to scan a photo multiple times for quality control.
We cannot keep the photos in a certain order.

As a basic plan, your photos will be scanned at 300 dpi and saved as jpg files on a disc.

For example, a 4x6 photo will be digitized to about 6mb file,
then compressed to a 600 - 200kb size in jpeg format.
By using this compressing technique called jpeg format, we can put
hundreds or thousands photos on a CD or DVD.

These files can be used for making good photos about the same size or a little bigger.
Also it is good for E-mail, Web sharing or graphic editing and enjoy on a big TV screen.

We can scan at 600 dpi, which means you will get 4 times bigger files.
A 4x6 photo is about 24mb in original then compressed to a 2mb- 500kb file.

In real world, with these rather small files (up to 8x10 originals),

Unless you order a movie DVD as an option, the answer is basically No.
Because the files on the CD/DVD are still images of your photos.
They are not encoded (programed) to play as a "movie" on your DVD player.

However, there are two ways to make the data file play:
1. You can order a Movie DVD option at $29.95 extra.
or
-2. There are some DVD players that "Play" jpg files as if they are movie file.
