Unlike other cheap stores that use an old technique like projecting your film on a screen and
record it with a camcorder,
we will digitally scan your films into our computer.
This system enables us to capture the very best digital quality you can expect from your originals films.

We will enhance the color or B/W contrast digitally as well as stabilize jittery images best as we can.

As for the price, we will call you with exact estimate before proceed your order.
What you were quoted over the phone (plus tax) is the price you will pay.
There is absolutely NO bidden charges.

Note: Old Movie Film jobs will be outsourced to best scanning system facilities.

Movie films to VHS tape $0.14 per foot (minimum $49.95)
Movie films to DVD video $0.14 per foot plus $34.95 up to two hours, $34.95 each additional two hours.
movie films to Digital file $0.14 per foot plus $49.90 up to two hours, $24.95 each additional hour.
Movie films to mini DV tape

$0.14 per foot plus $8.95 per hour (minimum $49.95)

 

i.e. if you have 5 reels of 50 feet of movie, and want to make a DVD video,
the price is 250 feet x $0.14 + $34.95 = $69.95.




This price includes the following free benefits that others are charging extra:

Clean and repair damaged film as much as we can with free of charge
Splice reels with free of charge
Enhance and correct the color as best as we can.
Adding music of your choice with free of charge
Color DVD cover showing movie contents,
No extra fee for mixed type of films on a DVD
There is no charge if we find more than 10 sec of blank on the film.

Yes.
Our DVD discs are compatible with most family DVD players.


Will the DVD disc play on my computer?
Yes.
Your computer must be equipped with DVD drive and DVD-video software.
If your computer can play regular Hollowed type of DVD movie, then our DVD will play too.

How many feet of film will fit onto a DVD?
In general, 800-1000ft of 8mm film, 1000-1200ft of Super 8mm film,
and 2000-2500ft of 16mm film will fit onto a DVD.

Can I edit the DVD-video that you created?
Technically Yes.
You can just rip the DVD video, and change the video format that's easier for you to handle.
How to do it is here.

However, if your purpose is solely a video editing, you can get better video quality by:
1. Order AVI(for Windows) or MOV(for Mac) video files
or, better yet
2. Order uncompressed DV file on miniDV tape or on an external Hard Drive.
(Note: there will be an extra free for these services)

Can you transfer to mini DV tape so I can edit?
Yes, and it is the best format to edit the footage.

Does it come with money back guarantee?
No.
We will stand by our quality and work with you as best as we can.
We will redo the work if we think the quality can be improved from the original.
However, because of the ease of making copy of the DVD video files,
we will not accept any money back request.

Where can I have my 8 mm / 16 mm movie film developed?
If you find an undeveloped 8mm or 16mm movie film,
you can try this company for old movie film processing.

Can you transfer to an external Hard Drive (HDD)?
Yes.
If you give us your HDD, we ill scan the movie film and transfer in AVI, MOV or MP4 format.
Please note that the HDD must be empty when sent to us, or we will format the HDD before we start.
